This is one of several articles overviewing Ty Bollinger’s book CANCER: Step Outside the Box. You can get caught up by reading Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, Part 10, Part 11, Part 12 and Part 13.
Intravenous Vitamin C
Remember Dr. Linus Pauling? He was a big fan of Vitamin C, and promoted its healing qualities back in the 70’s. Along with Scottish surgeon, Dr. Ewan Cameron he announced how cancer could be successfully treated with vitamin C.
And why is vitamin C so great? Actually, there are several reasons. For starters, it appears that this vitamin is necessary for the body to form collagen, which is the “cement” that holds cells together. It’s like a brick wall, with mortar holding the bricks together. And if the mortar isn’t strong, the wall isn’t strong. In the same way, strong and abundant collagen keeps your cells together, making it tough for tumors to penetrate through them. Therefore, strong and abundant collagen can stop the spread of cancer.
Dr. Cameron came up with some companion nutrients to add to vitamin C for even better effectiveness.
One thing that can damage the collagen that vitamin C helps form is something called hyaluronidase. It is secreted by the cancer cells, helping them attack the collagen. In his book, Hyaluronidase and Cancer, Dr. Cameron describes how Dr. Matthias Rath encourages the consumption of amino acids L-Lysine and L-Proline and EGCG (found in Green Tea), to add to vitamin C because they can block the hyaluronidase enzymes.
Also, we need Vitamin C to strengthen the immune system! Without it, our immune systems can’t generate and mobilize the leukocytes that battle the cancer. And as mentioned in previous articles, a strong immune system is VITAL to fend off cancer. We also know that conventional cancer treatments destroy the immune system with chemo and radiation. A 1995 publication, with the evidence from several physicians, presented evidence that ascorbic acid (and its salts), in other words, vitamin C, killed cancer cells while leaving normal cells alone.
Not only that, but vitamin C helps with oxygen transport, as well as being a powerful antioxidant. Dr. David Gregg, who has studied how vitamin C fights cancer, theorizes that the vitamin C serves as the oxygen transport molecule in the blood, with hemoglobin being unable to infuse the cancer cells with oxygen. So the vitamin C serves as a substitute oxygen carrier. Plus he recommends adding vitamin E to vitamin C, as a tag team, so the vitamin E can carry the oxygen through the cell walls after the vitamin C transports it to that point.
Another doctor, Dr. K. N. Prasad theorizes that malignant cells have lost the capacity to regulate their uptake of antioxidants. So antioxidants like vitamin C and vitamin E can accumulate in cancer cells to the point of breaking down and killing the malignant cells.
These cancer treatment studies were successfully done on terminal cancer patients who had already been subjected to chemotherapy.
Of course, the Cancer Industry viewed the work of Dr. Pauling and Dr. Cameron as a threat to the chemotherapy cash cow and they were smeared as quacks. Not only that, but the Cancer Industry got to work and did their own “studies” to refute Pauling and Cameron’s findings. They did three studies, with “predetermined” outcomes. But unreported were the facts that they failed to follow the selection protocol, didn’t follow the treatment protocol and managed some fancy tricks with linguistics and statistics.
It’s no wonder then, the Industry wound up proclaiming that Pauling and Cameron were total quacks, and not to be believed.
Oddly enough, four totally independent studies using the same, correct treatment protocol got the SAME results as Pauling and Cameron!
If you’re interested in vitamin C to treat your, or a loved one’s cancer, how much should you take? For cancerous cells, the best protocol is IVC Vitamin C. That’s to assure adequate levels of vitamin C reach the cancer. And of course, you would definitely need to be under the supervision of a doctor. You certainly don’t want to try giving YOURSELF an IV! And it needs to be taken several times daily.
There is IVC therapy available. You can try the website brightspot.org for details. Another website worth checking out is doctoryourself.com/cameron.html, explaining the “Protocol for the Intravenous Use of Vitamin C in the Treatment of Cancer”.
So, according to Ty Bollinger (and many others), Linus Pauling was right!
