Sodium Bicarbonate (Dr. Tullio Simoncini)
That’s right, as in baking soda! Who’d of thought—something so simple……?
This treatment is based on the premise that cancer is a fungus, and Ty Bollinger doesn’t really believe it IS a fungus, but can’t deny the treatment works. So it was added to the latest edition of his book. And I found it really interesting…..
Dr. Tullio Simoncini is the Roman doctor who came up with this treatment. And HE was convinced that cancer IS a fungus. He even has a book titled Cancer is a Fungus.
One thing baking soda is used for is an alkalizing agent, so, since cancer doesn’t like to be alkalized, that could be why it’s so effective. Plus, it floods the tissues with oxygen. This combination of alkalinity and oxygen reverses the hypoxia associated with cancer.
Another explanation Bollinger mentions as a possible reason for the success of sodium bicarbonate has to do with its ability to absorb heavy metals, dioxins, and furans, always present in cancerous tissues. It could be a combination of these things. OR, Bollinger concedes, maybe there IS a fungal link to cancer after all. At any rate, thousands of people credit this treatment with saving their lives!
Side effects associated with this treatment are thirst and weakness—and that’s all. That’s a lot better than chemotherapy!
Dr. Simoncini’s treatment calls for bringing the tumor into contact with sodium bicarbonate by oral administration for cancer of the digestive tract, enemas in rectal cancer, douching for vaginal and uterine cancers, intravenous injections for lung and brain cancers and inhalation for cancers of the upper airways. Local perfusions are recommended for breasts, lymph nodes and anything subcutaneous.
When the liver, pancreas, prostate and limbs, or the cavities of the pleura or peritoneum are involved, Simoncini looks for suitable catheters in the arteries therein.
It’s his theory that the sodium bicarbonate destroys the fungal colonies in the tumors.
And he HAS reported on cases of both primary and metastatic tumors of the brain that they stop growing after a 5% sodium bicarbonate solution is introduced. Similar success is attributed to cancers of the prostate, intestines, stomach, bladder, breast, spleen, liver, lung, pancreas and other less common cancer sites.
Dr. Simoncini recommends the supervision of a doctor, even though self-application IS possible, for oral, esophageal, stomach, rectal and intestinal cancers. For all other cancers a doctor’s assistance is mandatory—because of the infusions, etc.
While he still disagrees with the fungal link to cancer, Bollinger noted certain correlations and similarities between them. Out of 400,000 species of fungi, 400 are pathogens. And in 1990, Elizabeth Moore-Landeker reported that fungi and their mycotoxins CAN cause genetic variations and mutations. It’s a known fact that mycotoxins (fungal toxins) CAN cause cancer.
Certain similarities between cancer and fungus were pointed out by Dr. Doug Kaufman:
- Both cancer cells and fungi can metabolize nutrients anaerobically (without oxygen)
- Both cancer cells and fungi MUST have sugar in order to survive
- Both cancer cells and fungi produce lactic acid
- Both cancer cells and fungi can be impacted by antifungal medicines
Kaufman wrote a book, in total agreement with Simoncini—that cancer is a deep-rooted fungal infection that the immune system doesn’t recognize. Another thing he mentioned is the probability that antibiotics, some of which start out as fungi, can cause cancer development.
In addition, Kaufman hypothesized that perhaps many cases of cancer could be just misdiagnosed and are actually fungal infections/overgrowths. Not only are fungal infections extremely contagious, but they also go hand in hand with leukemia. This is common knowledge among oncologists. Dr. Kaufman’s book is The Germ that Causes Cancer, if you’re interested in reading it.
Dr. Simoncini has reported his CURE RATE as follows: “if the fungi are sensitive to the sodium bicarbonate solutions and the tumor size is below 3 cm, the percentage will be around 90%, in terminal cases where the patient is in reasonably good condition it is 50%”. And that’s pretty good!
